Earlier this month, 10 popular artists partook in the Volvo Art Session in Zurich.
For 5 days (February 9-13) each artist applied their talents to to a 3-dimensional canvas aka a white Volvo s60 and painted it over and over again. Contributing artists include, C-Line, DAIM, Pius Portmann, Yummy Industries, Donovan & Onur, Black Yard, NEVER CREW, Suki Bamboo, Michel FR and WES21.

Antz and Clogtwo from RSCLS decided to give back to community by producing a 15m by 3m mural at Coral Secondary school's art room. Antz and Clogtwo both painted giant owls and pigeons in rendition of their own style, accompanied with a mass pile up of art materials. The mural contains two owls which represent the wise teachings and knowledge that is passed down from teachers to students. And the pigeons represent the artistic freedom of a young's mind. Both artists took 4 days and total of 150 cans to complete the mural.
VOID is a newly established local boutique that prides itself on focusing mainly on utilizing the homegrown talent that is abundant but somewhat unknown to the passer-by on the streets of Singapore.
The boutique prides itself on stocking products and artworks designed and crafted with pride special attention to detail by various artists and designers. Strongly believing that the only way to nurture talent is to give them an outlet to showcase their creativity in a space readily accessible to the public.

unusual and slightly off-beat touches to all forms of essential clothing for both men and
women. With the creative input from various artists, we will grant them full creative
freedom to apply themselves to designing everyday garments with their very own twist.
Turning an essential into something uncommon.
CARBONATED is a collaborative effort between local boutique VOID and renowned Singaporean artists and establishments. This limitedly released creative collaboration gives the various artists and establishments creative freedom to express and interpret the overarching theme in whatever way they see fit. Each product will feature the artists and establishments’ signature styles but at the same time, fall under the Carbonated theme.

Over the past several years, artist Arkiv Vilmansa’s iconic character, ‘Arkiv Instant’ has made the artist a household name within the lowbrow art and toy culture scene. In his first U.S. solo exhibition, Through The Lines, Arkiv looks to develop his signature image, while debuting new characters and continuing to explore his unique style of combining the surreal and theatrical with playful and whimsical caricature.
Through The Lines is the first exhibition to chronicle Arkiv’s Vilmansa’s career during the past several years of artistic growth and budding success. As the title suggests, the exhibition is centralized on the theme of overcoming adversity or “rolling with the punches.” Many of Vilmansa’s characters are seen embroiled in conflict, be it through physical restraint or combat. True to his technique, Vilmansa’s deep and curvaceous lines slice across each canvas, while radiant, harlequin waves sweep your eyes up and around the bodies of unusual, yet beautiful creatures. As a result, Vilmansa has developed his portrayal of colorful fluidity and struggle and opposition. Through the lines marks a pivotal turning point in Vilmansa’s career, where past challenges are overcome and the process of moving forward begins.
About The Artist
"Indonesian artist Arkiv has been painting, illustrating and designing cartoon like figures since 2005. Shortly after finishing his Bachelor degree in Architecture he plunged into the art world citing his love for drawing figures as his inspiration for this change of career path. Arkiv had a strong debut with his first vinyl figurine titled Arkiv Instant. After Arkiv Instant’s large success, Vilmansa was presented with many exciting opportunities including a redesign of Mickey Mouse for Disney Asia.
His description reflects the same silliness and complexity of his characters. Smiling cartoons flipping you the bird. Figures strangling each other. Teddy bears hanging on a rope are just some of the oddities that Arkiv paints with cheery colors and his signature curvy and graphic style."

Now Bansky's mickey mouse billboard has been removed by the billboard's owner, CBS outdoor, even though the garage employees had offered to pay 10 000 USD to let it stay. CBS now claims that they own the Bansky artwork.

Simon Hureau is a comic artist with an experimental streak, his uses various mediums from ink, coloured pencil, watercolor, to the technical play of silk-screen.
Simon Hureau has chosen path. Departing from the natural sciences graduate, Simon chose law and fine art before finally enrolled at the College of Arts majoring in illustration Decorative Strasbourg. Quickly French critics acknowledge Simon as one of the best comics expert of his era.
Hureau’s work that were exhibited covered segments of his best comics in France, his illustrative journey in Cambodia, and most interesting is his illustration of traveling to Indonesia.
