FAIRITIZEMYART SHOW AT THE COFFEE CONNOISSEUR

FairitizeMyArt is a showcase of 10 emerging illustrators, brought to you by tcc, a passionate advocate of the arts. Since 2004, tcc has been a host to local and foreign artists like, B. Jane Cowie, Dominic Fondé, Jeremy Ramsey, Jean-Pierre Blanchard, Ketna Patel, and Hans Mendler. In an effort to nurture artists and the creative community, tcc brings art to a larger public by bringing artworks out of the gallery and into an informal and comfortable caffè atmosphere. A recipient of the Patron of the Arts Award for three consecutive years since 2007, tcc has selected art boutique caffès across Singapore that display exceptional art collections, where guests can appreciate art over a superior cup of coffee. tcc “The Gallery” at 51 Circular Road is the only gallery in Singapore opens 365 days from 11am to midnight and 2am on weekend.

COMME DES GARÇONS SINGAPORE

After a long long wait and three guerilla stores in obscure locations like Haji Lane, Chinatown and Bukit Merah, the first COMME des GARÇONS Singapore flagship store has finally opened it’s doors at the Hilton Shopping Gallery in Singapore.

The huge clean and minimalistic space was created and conceptualized by Rei Kawakubo based around the theme “Constructed Interrupted”. The idea is for customers to discover the shop through a series of half tunnels, semi-corridors, curved walls and metallic or wooden structures. Long time fans will be glad to know that this new space offers almost the entire range of the COMME des GARÇONS main lines: Comme des Garçons Play, Comme des Garçons Shirt, Comme des Garçons Shirt Girl, Comme des Garçons Homme Plus, Comme des Garçons Black, their perfume range as well as their much sort after wallets and accessories.
